What does a wristband get me?
Wristbands are valid for £5 Signature Cocktails at 100 bars across the city for the entire 10-day duration of Edinburgh Cocktail Week, Friday 3rd - Sunday 12th October 2025. Wristbands are also valid for free entry to the Cocktail Village where there are 24 pop-up bars serving cocktails from £5 plus live music, DJ sets and street food.
Which bars are taking part?
The list of participating bars for 2025 will be announced in the Spring. You can see all the participating bars from 2024 here.
Where can I see the £5 cocktails?
All the cocktails will be revealed in the summer. You can see all the cocktails from 2024 here.
Are non-alcoholic cocktails available?
Yes! We encourage all 100 participating bars to offer an alcohol-free alternative to their Signature Cocktail. There is also an alcohol-free bar in the Cocktail Village,
Where do I collect my wristband?
You can collect your wristband from the Cocktail Village at Festival Square from Thursday 2nd - Sunday 12th October 2025, 10am - 11pm daily (8pm close on Sundays). We do not post out wristbands. Please bring along your digital tickets for us to scan and we will exchange these for your wristbands and a copy of the ECW Guide.
Do I need to keep my wristband on?
Yes, you must have your wristband securely fastened on to access the Cocktail Village and to order the £5 cocktails in participating bars. QR codes do not act as a wristband and will not be accepted by bars. Your wristband is considered void once broken or not securely attached to your wrist. We do not replace wristbands, so please keep your wristband on for the duration you wish to use it.
Is there a guide for the festival with maps?
Yes. You will receive a physical copy of the festival guide when collecting your wristband.
Where is the Cocktail Village and what time is it open?
The Cocktail Village is at Festival Square (directly opposite Usher Hall) on Lothian Road - just a few minutes walk from Princes Street. Open hours are Friday 3rd - Sunday 12th October 2025, 12pm - 11pm (8pm close on both Sundays).
I can’t find my tickets. Who should I contact?
If you are unable to find your tickets, please first check your spam folder for an email from Citizen Ticket.
You can also access your tickets by logging into the Citizen Ticket website or app.

Can I collect wristbands for my friends?
Yes, please bring along their digital ticket for us to scan and we will exchange this for a wristband.
Can I buy a wristband from the Box Office?
Yes, subject to availability. It is always cheaper to book online.
Do I need a wristband to enter the Cocktail Village?
Yes, you must have a wristband to enter the Cocktail Village.
Can I make a table reservation for the Cocktail Village?
No, we do not offer table reservations at the Cocktail Village.
Are children allowed in the Cocktail Village?
No, children and young persons are not permitted in the Cocktail Village. You must be aged 18+ to enter.
Are dogs allowed in the Cocktail Village?
For safety and hygiene reasons, no animals are permitted in the Cocktail Village.
How many cocktails can I buy with my wristband?
There is no restriction on how many cocktails you can buy at each bar or during the week, but orders are restricted to two cocktails per order. Please drink responsibly.
Can I use my wristband to order cocktails for a group of friends?
No, you can order two cocktails at a time with your wristband.
